Structural Analysis is handled with Robot Structural Analysis Professional Autodesk® (https://www.autodesk.com/) software, a powerful 3D FEA program developed to define and size planar and spatial structural systems (composed of plates, walls, shells and members) and to determine assemblies suitable to materials in use (wood, steel, concrete…) . RSA integrates all different types of loads acting on structures : dead load, live load, impact load and rolling load, wind (cyclonic if hurricane area) and seismic. The Wind Load Simulation function is particularly advanced. This dynamic simulator analyses buildings according to their geometry and geographical location then generates wind loads with the highest accuracy. Fire resistance rating as defined by clients or local building codes is also taken into consideration.
